Ed Sorge

Ed Sorge, a two-time Staten Island Amateur champion, served as the head professional at Silver Lake Golf Course from 1963 until 1988, where his clinics spawned generations of the Island’s best golfers. Rodney Stilwell

Rodney Stilwell has won all of Staten Island’s amateur golf tournaments, most of them multiple times, including five Staten Island Amateurs, six Staten Island Classics, and a combined 14 Senior Amateurs and Senior Classics. Steve Zuntag, a two-time Staten Island Amateur champion and four-time Senior Amateur titlist, served for 40 years as president of the Staten Island Golf Association.
