Frank Menechino

Frank Menechino, played six different position – even appearing in two games as a pitcher – in seven big-league seasons with the Oakland A’s and Toronto Blue Jays, before becoming a minor-league coach, and batting coach for the Marlins.

Menechino, a 150-pound catcher at Susan Wagner High School, led his Alabama college team in hitting, triples and stolen bases. He hit 12 home runs and drove in 60 runs for the 2001 A’s.
